Malaysia Campus Student Blending Conference

Image
I've just came back from this campus student blending conference in Puchong. This was my second time joining because last year I was taking foundation studies while this time I joined as a year 1 student. There're around 250 saints altogether from all localities in Malaysia. Some even traveled from Sabah and the flight cost them RM800 ++. Their willingness to pay the price to gain Lord really reminded me that I need to have a stronger appetite for the words of God. Even though I don't have to travel by plane, I still considered for awhile when the sister asked whether I wanna join or not. Part of the reasons that made me indecisive was that I need to sacrifice my weekend and public holiday since I planned to do revision using the weekends. I thought I need to spend more time on study since I will go to KL for brother's convocation during my study break so I won't have much time to study during that period. After I signed up, a sister contacted me, when I told her m...

Joshua turns 19 | Takeno Japanese Restaurant

Image
It's been 3 weeks since I started my degree. There's not much assignments so far, only 2 for ESAP, which are critical thinking and critical review so I'm quite free to blog recently. I spent a lot of time on sleeping these days since the orientation night. We spent 6 hours playing 8 stations that day and got so dirty. There're flour, tootpaste, yogurt, sand, coffee and many more all over our faces and clothes. It was definitely and unforgettable one.  Tomorrow will be Joshua's big day but we got him a surprise party at Takeno Japanese Restaurant today. Last night some of us already surprised him by pouring on him a pail of mixture of water, flour, spaghetti sauce, milk powder and soil. We also bought him a birthday cake and sang birthday song. Little did he know that we have a bigger plan ahead which is more surprising because there'll be more people joining us. I bought the chocolate oreo cake from Bonjour Bread . I like the design because it...

I spent a day in Perlis

Image
It's National Day on 31th August, the saints in Sungai Petani had a blending trip to Perlis to meet the Saints in Kangar. We went to see the new meeting hall in Kangar first. It's a three-story shoplot. We just view it from outside because they haven't officially use it for meeting.  Before I came I already heard them discussing about the one of the famous pau stall here. They said that the pau sold out real quick and the owner doesn't accept any pre-order so we have to come early to buy it. When we arrived, we just realized that it's closed that day LOL. Then we went to another pau shop but I didn't buy any because I left early with another sister to Gua Kelam. We had some fellowship there. We sang hymn #1205 and I really enjoy stanza 1: Press on, press on toward the goal- The all-inclusive Christ. To gain the prize of God's high call, Press on, press on to Christ! Pressing on! Pressing on! Pressing on! Hallelujah for the prize We're ...

I'm officially a degree student!

After one and a half months of rest, finally I started my campus life as a degree student in Aimst University. I really didn't feel like blogging when I was at home, probably because there're lots of things I can do other than blogging, like watching movies/drama, going out with mom, hanging out with friends and of course catching pokemon haha. Actually most of the time I don't feel like going out, partly because I was lazy to drive and another reason is that.... I was lazy haha. I still manage to meet some of my secondary school classmates in KK, most of them are leaving KK soon for degree. It's weird that even when I was bored at home and don't know what to do, I still don't feel like blogging but once I came back to campus, *blogging mode ON*. I really have nothing much to do in campus, we can either go out to eat or play sports in campus. This week I can actually go to Penang since we all are still free this week but I wanna cut down expenses and start ...

Unusual Breakfast with Dad

After being anxious for 3 days, finally I got offered for dentistry course through phone and can finally stop worrying. The registration day will be on 24th next month (August) so I'll leave KK on 23th. This Saturday I'll have my trip to Sarawak with some of my foundation coursemates. After coming back, I have only about 17 days left before I start my degree. I didn't actually spent much time with my parents for the past few weeks especially my dad because he's busy working and has church meeting or visitation almost every night. So I wake up early and have breakfast with him whenever I can haha. This morning I made egg mayo spread. I spread it on the bread and made 2 sets of egg mayo sandwiches. Then I feel like steaming the bread because we bought the bread the day before yesterday. After steaming it, I took it out and placed it on the dining table. On my way to the dining room, the plate kinda hit the chair and then one sandwiches dropped onto the...

Hermo fans

Image
I'm always a big fans of Hermo because I can browse for beauty products of many brands without going out and shop. I mentioned before about my first time buying Hermo as  Mother's Day Gift . I've been using Kiehl's facial cleanser since January but there's a lot left because only a small amount is needed for each use. However, after coming back, I searched all over my luggages but couldn't find it so I think I left it in my hostel bathroom, feel so sad. I know innisfree is always the right brand to go for so I decided to buy innisfree facial cleanser and toner from Hermo . I bought this jeju volcanic pore cleansing foam and also green tea fresh skin toner. So far the cleansing foam is quite satisfying for me, I can definitely feel my skin is smoother right after the first use. I'll definitely repurchase it. I haven't tried the toner yet because I haven't finished using mine. I think it'll be good as well. I also bought some masks, I bought ...

Tavern Kitchen & Bar

Image
I've been staying at home ALMOST everyday since I came back from Sungai Petani. Last Sunday I went to Aerica's 4th birthday party at Oceanus Mall. She is the youngest sister of my friend, Audrenny. Audrenny and I have been close since we're junior 1 (form 1). We're at the same class except in J2 and J3 if I've not mistaken. Her house is not far from mine and we went to tuition together as well so we're quite close since then. I haven't got a chance to meet my other friends in the first week because I just got my driving license renewed last week. It surprised me that there're many new cafes in town which I haven't tried out. Last Tuesday, Robin came picked me up and we went to SOULed Out at Imago. It was a quick meet-up so I didn't manage to take any pictures. Last Friday I met up with Audrenny, Tommy and Nicol at Tavern Kitchen and Bar. It's located at Aramaiti Street Walk outside Imago Shopping Mall, which was the same location as SOUL...
