2 more days to the day I go home. I've waited so long to be back to hometown because I crave for my hometown food so badly. Also, I'll be visiting my relatives in Sandakan which is my mom's hometown. I'm quite looking forward to the trip. It'll be a great chance for me to hunt for local food. The last time I've been there was more than 10 years ago. So tonight I'm gonna share about a dimsum restaurant in Sungai Petani, which is Koek Kee Restaurant（国记茶楼）. I've been there for 3 times ever since I first came to SP in 2015. The restaurant is fully occupied by elderlies and we seemed like the only younger ones. From here we can definitely tell that this restaurant has been operated for decades so it's the most popular spot for the locals to eat dimsum. It's been 3 weeks since I started my degree. There's not much assignments so far, only 2 for ESAP, which are critical thinking and critical review so I'm quite free to blog recently. I spent a lot of time on sleeping these days since the orientation night. We spent 6 hours playing 8 stations that day and got so dirty. There're flour, tootpaste, yogurt, sand, coffee and many more all over our faces and clothes. It was definitely and unforgettable one.  Tomorrow will be Joshua's big day but we got him a surprise party at Takeno Japanese Restaurant today. Last night some of us already surprised him by pouring on him a pail of mixture of water, flour, spaghetti sauce, milk powder and soil. We also bought him a birthday cake and sang birthday song. After one and a half months of rest, finally I started my campus life as a degree student in Aimst University. I really didn't feel like blogging when I was at home, probably because there're lots of things I can do other than blogging, like watching movies/drama, going out with mom, hanging out with friends and of course catching pokemon haha. Actually most of the time I don't feel like going out, partly because I was lazy to drive and another reason is that.... I was lazy haha. I still manage to meet some of my secondary school classmates in KK, most of them are leaving KK soon for degree. Xin Hui's birthday is actually on 20th July but we'll not be around that time so here came the idea of birthday celebration in advance. We all will be in hometown in July. Guess what? Time flies, I still can't get used to the fact today was the last day of lecture week for my foundation year, it means that no more impromptu outing for us oh no. Since this was the last week, my class had our class dinner this Tuesday at The Boss Cafe. I thought it's compulsory for every class to organize this dinner but actually it wasn't, I get to know that other class didn't have their class dinner, seems like only our class did. YAY!  This was my second time dining at The Boss. Last time I went there I was also with C4 classmates but didn't feel like going for the second time. Okay I had a not-so-impromptu impromptu outing again. My roommate and I actually planned to go out either on Saturday or Sunday but too bad we didn't manage to borrow a car because many of our friends were away from campus. Around 8pm it came to my mind that Jun maybe back in campus already so I quickly borrowed his car haha, so here started our outing. My roommate actually kinda craved for Japanese food and Korean food so we ended up going to a Korean restaurant, which was the restaurant where my friends celebrated my birthday this year.  I quite like this restaurant because the owner is a Korean so I guess the food was really authentic. For the last time we really ate a lot because there're many of us.
