THROWBACK 2016 Year End Break in KL

Image
If you're constantly reading my blog (well I guess nobody did), you'd know that I've blogged about my year end break already but I focused more on our stay in Kampar since we spent more time there, and I've totally forgotten that I have photos in KL to share! When I was blogging about year end break (the previous one), I thought there's nothing much to blog about KL because we just did shopping there. Just now when I was scrolling through camera roll, I found many photos I took in KL which I intended to blog about. LOL what happened to my memory... Ok let's get started and skip the grandmother's story. This will be a post full of picssssss. GO Noodle House (有间面馆) is on top of my to-eat-list. My eldest brother brought me once to the branch in Publika but I didn't know that it's so famous until many of my friends who study in KL keep posting it on snapchat. So we (Enosh, Mr J and I) went to this branch in Mid Valley. We reached there quite ea

21/02/17 This afternoon I got my first dose of Hepatitis B vaccination from the clinic in my campus. My left arm was feeling a bit sore after the injection. I changed my chair for a new one from the warden office and I was so happy hahaha. The old one is really flat and has dust all over it although I've cleaned it before. I have no idea how many hostellers have been using the chair before I move into this room. Biochemistry and Anatomy on tomorrow morning are cancelled but I will be having Hubunagn Etnik class on 8am. 22/02/17 I started with my brochure making last night after typing the paragraph above. It is a project for my EPP subject. We're separated into a group of 5 and we need to do a brochure and do presentation for it. My group chose the topic 'Oral Health Care' because we've learnt the basic of it. They want to do it today but I think I'll be lazy to go out just to do this brochure so I tried  making it so that I don't have to go out t

Because There's a Power Cut in Campus

Image
I've been out since 11am until about 8pm. There's a power cut in my campus so I was 'forced' to go out to avoid being burned in my hostel. I was awaken by the sudden power cut around 9.40am, then my friends decided to go out and we went out by cab at 11am. I was with Shirley, Zhen Wei and Siew Hui. We watched a movie called 'Love Contractually' (合约男女)It was not bad, compared to the Singaporean CNY movie that I watched on 14th Feb with my July batch (2016) foundation friends. That Sg movie was not funny although it should be funny (only some of the scenes were funny, but not that funny in fact). Can you get me? HAHA Then we went to Seoul BBQ to have our lunch. It's always the favourite spot for us to have Korean food ( before that Kangnaru was our favourite but... Yeah) We ordered quite a lot although there's only 4 of use but I didn't take any picture. I only snapchatted vid. We ordered the seafood stew pot but I'd say Kimchi stew pot

What I eat in Kota Kinabalu

Back to uni life, I crave for hometown food again. Today I'm gonna do some summary on what I ate in KK during my 1 week ++ stay for CNY.  Of course I'm not gonna post every meal that I had, but just some that I think they're MUST-EAT. The arrangement is random. 1. Fish Noodles @  Kedai Kopi How Kee This place is one of my family's favourite it's within a stone's throw from my house and I personally think they pretty much serve the best tomato fish mee in KK. The shop is always full and you can see people standing outside to wait for seats no matter it's morning or afternoon.  Generous amount of ingredients The soup is tomato base and it's really delicious without the fishy taste. There're a variety of ingredients which you can choose from. I once ordered without specifying that I want a small one then they got me a normal bowl which was too much for me hahaha. 2. Kedai Kopi Lotus This was actually my first time h

It's been a hectic fortnight for me back in hometown. Nevertheless, I'm so glad that I'm able to spend some quality time with my family, all of them I mean, not just parents or just brothers, but every single one of them. It's really rare for me to gather around with family. The only time 5 of us can actually meet is during CNY when all of us are free. I'm back in campus now anyway and I just had my second paper today on Anatomy. 3 more papers to go for next week then I will be quite free for few weeks (or few days?). I scrolled through my module 3 timetable yesterday and found that it's quite packed. You know what? I will be having class at 8am ALMOST everyday, which means no more waking up late. Today I wanna share about my trip to Sandakan during CNY. I was so happy to meet so many relatives whom I used to meet every year. Not gonna talk much, I'll just show you some pics.   Staying in Amanson Hotel New and comfortable
