Food Hunt on a Sunday

Image
Cassie just whatsapp me last Sat cuz she wanna borrow my prom dress so I have to post my dress to her. Zi Ling and I decided to go out on Sunday to post the dress and also hunt for some good food in SP. We had our breakfast at a housing area. It's a family run business which served breakfast. We ordered a konlo kueyteow, toast stuffed with bakgua, bread stuffed with meat floss, half boiled egg and a red dates longan drinks. Personally I like the konlo kueyteow very much! The chilli paste which came with it really spiced up the taste and make it much tastier. It's not that expensive though, RM3.50 for a small one and RM4 for a large one. I think ours was the small one. look at the cute cup bought this there as well: Peanut snacks and pong piah Passed by a small food court and ate this: 油条+豆花 The main place that we wanna go today other than post office is this cafe called Eclectic. We've come here before and still craving for the guabao. I ordered a kimchi tof

Time flies when you're with the good company. My Perak trip was gradually coming to an end. For the last day, we had dimsum as breakfast at a restaurant called Yoke Fook Moon (玉福满酒楼)It's not the best one as far as I know. When I was here with my family last time, we ate dimsum at 富山点心茶楼 but I heard from others that the food quality wasn't as good as it used to be anymore. Some people told me that this restaurant is mostly for tourists. Some prefer 明阁茶楼 but I've never tried eating there before. I know the size of dimsum is kinda small there. Since we're a bit late so both 富山 and 明阁 were very crowded, we then chose 玉福满. I actually like the environment here more. It's less crowded and air-conditioned, most importantly there're more varieties of dimsum here. The waiter came to serve us unlike in 富山 that we've to go and take the dimsum by ourselves because there're too many customers. I waited for about 20 mins to get seated last time. Yeah we had to loo

Basically everyone slept at 3am and woke up at 6.45am today, which was the 4th day of my trip to Perak. Although it seemed like we didn't get enough sleep but everyone was so energetic for the whole day. I guess it's because no matter how tired we are, we will always have fun whenever we are with the right group of people.  The first stop we went  today was the place where I've been looking forward to go since my first day here. Any idea where's it?? :))) It's the kopitiam which serves Ipoh white coffee (新源隆)! There're 2 similar kopitiam there just opposite to each other but they said the one opposite(南香)serves better white coffee but since it's too crowded there this time so we went to the opposite one istead. I've tried the white coffee from 南香 during CNY this year. I tried iced white coffee last time so I ordered a hot one this time. Adventurous people Half boiled egg served on top of toast Next, we explored Gua Tempurung. Btw on Wednesda

As I mentioned earlier in my last post, I've spent 2 nights at Kampar with Enosh and Angeline. I will be spending the other 2 nights in Ipoh with my classmates. After my classmates arrived at Ipoh Parade to pick me up, it's around 4.45pm, the first stop we went is a kopitiam because Siew Hui (my classmate) recommended the rojak here but then the stall was closed so I ordered a black glutinous rice instead. Black glutinous rice Then we went to an area near Siew Hui's house because there's a stall selling buns, pastries etc. Siew Hui recommended the egg tart but too bad there wasn't any left so we went to Kek Lok Tong (极乐洞). This was my first being there. I've been to Ipoh twice actually but I never visited any tourist spot or places of interest. The 1st time I've been here is during primary 4 with my dad and the 2nd time is during CNY 2016 with my family. There's nothing much to see in Kek Lok Tong actually. Since it's almost 5.30pm when we got

Since my roommate had to go back to KK for her medical appointment on last Wednedsay until Sunday, I decided to pay a visit to my brother at Kampar who's currently pursuing a degree in UTAR because. I decided to go there on Wednesday after tutorial and come back on Sunday because it's public holiday in Kedah on Thursday. However, there's a sudden plan change when my classmates decided to organize a trip to Ipoh during the period. After considering, I decided to stay at Kampar for 2 nights and spend another 3 days 2 nights at Ipoh with my classmates. Tbh I actually felt like cancelling my plan to Kampar after knowing that we will be going to Ipoh on Friday. But I have already promised my brother that I will pay a visit and he's being quite welcoming so I don't wanna break my promise. The time we can spend together is getting lesser and lesser after both of us left our hometown and further study in different state so I still feel that I should go anyway. Okay let
