Ipoh- Ho Yan Hor Museum(何人可), Thean Chun Coffee Shop(天津)

I will be having an exam tomorrow afternoon. After the exam I can finally turn my holiday mode on! I feel like starting this post because I've left behind my blog for so long. I have so many posts to catch up with. I was deeply stuck with my assignments lately. I do it whenever I have spare time because I want to have fun in my year end break instead of struggling with assignments. I will spend my 2 weeks year end break in KL and Kampar starting from next week. There will be more posts coming for sure. So let's come back to the main topic.

I wanna share about Ho Yan Hor Museum. I was totally not interested in visiting this museum since I really ain't a big fan of ho yan hor. I only tried it once when I was sick in a camp. I've never tried it after that single time. Jun was thinking to buy some herbal tea for his family so we visited together. Ho Yan Hor is a kind of herbal tea which is known for its effectiveness in relieving heatiness and cures the common cold by allowing self-healing. I'm not gonna go for more details about it but you can know more details by visiting their website, Ho Yan Hor. They limited the number of visitor for each round so we waited for about 40 mins for our turn. It's a museum so obviously we can read about the history of Ho Yan Hor herbal tea inside. We can even try the herbal tea before exiting. There're 3 types of herbal tea to choose from and they're selling both types.

I got to try steamed egg with milk dessert AKA egg custard (炖蛋)which is also a famous food here in Ipoh. I don't know what is the correct way to call it in English lol. I missed the chance to try it during CNY because it's closed during that period. Egg custard is kinda like pudding but it has a richer taste of milk. It's topped with caramel sauce. I don't like it much because there's a slight bitterness. I'm looking forward to try egg custard from different coffee shop, maybe I can find my the right egg custard for me HAHA.
