Ipoh- Nam Heong Coffee Shop (南香), Restaurant Kam Wan (金山冬菇亭美食中心)

Finally I'm writing about my favourite place! Nam Heong Coffee Shop is a MUST MUST MUST-go if you haven't been there before. I assure that you that there will be a 2nd time, 3rd time and many many more after your first visit. The white coffee of Nam Heong is to die for. It's my main purpose to travel to Ipoh again. It's rich and aromatic, definitely will satisfy your taste bud. I always take away iced white coffee because the coffee shop is always fully occupied. The take-away iced coffee is quite big in portion so I can enjoy it to the max. I didn't take any photo of it. I 'snapchatted' it but didn't save the photo. It's ok because it's more important that you go there to try it yourself instead of looking at the photo I took. During my third visit I managed to take some photos. This time I drank the coffee on the spot instead of taking away like the last 2 times. Somehow I think the take away iced white coffee tasted better :/   When we

I will be having an exam tomorrow afternoon. After the exam I can finally turn my holiday mode on! I feel like starting this post because I've left behind my blog for so long. I have so many posts to catch up with. I was deeply stuck with my assignments lately. I do it whenever I have spare time because I want to have fun in my year end break instead of struggling with assignments. I will spend my 2 weeks year end break in KL and Kampar starting from next week. There will be more posts coming for sure. So let's come back to the main topic. I wanna share about Ho Yan Hor Museum. I was totally not interested in visiting this museum since I really ain't a big fan of ho yan hor. I only tried it once when I was sick in a camp. I've never tried it after that single time. Jun was thinking to buy some herbal tea for his family so we visited together. Ho Yan Hor is a kind of herbal tea which is known for its effectiveness in relieving heatiness and cures the common cold by

Some well-known local food in Ipoh are beansprout chicken, salted chicken and white coffee. Actually, curry mee is also one of the famous food that you must try if you're in Ipoh. Where to find the best curry mee? The locals will definitely tell you 'Xin Quan Fang' is the best place to hunt for curry mee. We're lucky enough to get a seat after waiting for few minutes as there're very limited seats inside the coffeeshop. I read from other blog that this coffeshop is always crowded even though they only sell curry mee. There's no other food served here. People usually wait up to 45 minutes to get their bowl of curry me if it's peak hours. For us, it took about 35 minutes for us to get seated and for the food to be served.  There's a funny incident here, I was busy taking photos and deleting photos after we got our seats and I thought we're waiting for our curry mee to be served. After quite some time, the aunty came to get our food order, only the

I've always wanted to visit Ipoh althought I already went there twice this year. It's all because of the food there. I crave for food easily and I really craved for the kopi ping from Nam Heong. There're many posts from facebook that recommend us what to eat in Ipoh, guess I was influenced by these posts which caused me to have the urge to visit Ipoh again. Other than good food, another motive of mine was to make vlog on Ipoh food. 1. Tong Sui Gai (糖水街 Dessert Street) By the time we reached Ipoh it's already night time so we went for supper at Tong Sui Gai (糖水街 Dessert Street). Tong Sui Gai is a row of around 50++ hawker stalls serving a variety of authentic food including snacks and desserts. We can definitely tell why it's always crowded here after trying the food. Not only the food here are mouthwatering, the prices are affordable as well. We ordered Jap Gor Bing  (什果冰 Mixed Fruits with Shaved Ice). It's a bowl of mixed fruits (watermelon, papaya, hone

I'm definitely not considered as somebody who's good at dancing. I'm glad that I had the chance to take part in quite a number of dancing performances ever since kindergarten until high school. I never expected that I still have the opportunity to dance in university. As you know I'm currently a year 1 student in Aimst University. There's ADSAlympic every year, fyi ADSA stands for Aimst Dental Student Association. Year 1 to year 5 students can take part in the activities including sports, indoor game etc. Surprisingly, DOTA is one of the event and we got our very first gold medal in this event hahaha. We got a silver medal in table tennis event tonight as well. I only took part in cheerleading competition since I'm not good at any other sports. I had some cheerleading experiences back in high school but they're totally different from what I was exposed to this year. We really involved stunts in our routine which I've never tried in high school due t
