it's CNY Tomorrow!

Tomorrow will be the first day of Chinese Lunar New Year. I'm otw to my mom's hometown, Sandakan rn, by bus haha. I've never take any long distance bus in KK before. Usually dad will be the driver. Unfortunately, his car is currently in the workshop due to an accident that happened when he borrowed his car to someone else. They're otw back from Semporna after joining the first Lord's Table Meeting there. It's a relief that nobody got injured despite the chronic situation at that moment. I would say it's all because of the sovereign God.

I think it's my first time going to Sandakan after my grandma passed away in 2006. It's been over 10 years! I used to spend every CNY there with my mom's relatives. I was quite close with my cousins back then but we rarely meet after 2006. Some of my cousins will not be in Sandakan during CNY so I got no chance to meet them this year also. I think I'll eat a lot for the next three days hahaha, but I need to control a lil bit or else I'll diarrhea and vomit after going back like what happened during module 1 exam. It's really torturing.

Mom chose some gifts from Eu Yan Sang for her relatives few days ago after somebody (Idk who) gave us some Eu Yan Sang products (chicken essence). Eu Yang Sang products always have fancy packaging, especially now they're having new year edition gift box for gingko chicken essence and some other products. Honestly I'm not a big fans of chicken essence. I drank often in secondary school because mom bought it. She always ask me to buy some after I went to further study but I never bought it lol. It tastes good but I seriously don't think it has much effect on me.

I asked mom to buy a purple Chinese yam and purple rice powdered drinks for dad. The sales person told me it's effective for lowering cholesterol and blablabla so I chose it. *Actually it's because I wanna try it* HAHAHA. It smells really good that I couldn't stop smelling it. The smell is kinda sweet but it actually doesn't taste sweet. I think it's because it doesn't have added sugar so it's good for people like my dad, who cannot consume too much sugar.

The texture is the same as any other rice drinks u can get out there but this is less sweet (literally not sweet at all)
