Tomorrow will be the first day of Chinese Lunar New Year. I'm otw to my mom's hometown, Sandakan rn, by bus haha. I've never take any long distance bus in KK before. Usually dad will be the driver. Unfortunately, his car is currently in the workshop due to an accident that happened when he borrowed his car to someone else. They're otw back from Semporna after joining the first Lord's Table Meeting there. It's a relief that nobody got injured despite the chronic situation at that moment. I would say it's all because of the sovereign God. I think it's my first time going to Sandakan after my grandma passed away in 2006. It's been over 10 years! I used to spend every CNY there with my mom's relatives. I was quite close with my cousins back then but we rarely meet after 2006. Some of my cousins will not be in Sandakan during CNY so I got no chance to meet them this year also. I think I'll eat a lot for the next three days hahaha, but I need ...

2 more days to the day I go home. I've waited so long to be back to hometown because I crave for my hometown food so badly. Also, I'll be visiting my relatives in Sandakan which is my mom's hometown. I'm quite looking forward to the trip. It'll be a great chance for me to hunt for local food. The last time I've been there was more than 10 years ago. So tonight I'm gonna share about a dimsum restaurant in Sungai Petani, which is Koek Kee Restaurant（国记茶楼）. I've been there for 3 times ever since I first came to SP in 2015. The restaurant is fully occupied by elderlies and we seemed like the only younger ones. From here we can definitely tell that this restaurant has been operated for decades so it's the most popular spot for the locals to eat dimsum. Year end break is always the time which I long the most. It's unlike some other break that is right before an exam, which I have to study much in that period. My CA2 will be held after CNY so I think I can spend some time doing my own things and chill a lil bit during this break. Although at some point I did feel guilty for being too chilled, most of the time I just ignored the feeling and continue to enjoy my holidays lol (I did spent some time doing assignments so you know I still concern about my studies ok). I know I've to focus on my studies after this break, especially before CNY. I'll be quite busy during CNY cuz I will visit my mom's hometown with family.
