Cherish The People in Your Life

Recently there're so many heartbroken news. Firstly, on 11st June, Christina Grimmie, a young talented singer was shot while signing autographs after her concert. On the next day, there's this gunshot incident in a nightclub in Orlando which caused the death of 50 people.

It's so unfair to think that a young woman who's just started to pursue her dream just left this world because of some mentally unbalanced guy. All the hard work and efforts she had put in just vanished into thin air. I really can't imagine the pain that her parents have to go through, same goes to the parents of the victims in the gunshot incident. The pain they have to face is seriously unbearable and I really can't imagine how heartbroken they are.

The thing is, we don't know who will we lose the next second. One day you have an argue with your friend, you feel like apologizing but you decide to do it tomorrow, but who knows you or your friend can survive until tomorrow? We never know how long we can live and don't know what will happen to us the next second. So when you feel like doing something, do it, feel like telling somebody something, tell him/her. Seize the opportunity and don't hesitate because the best timing is always 'right now'. When you hesitate, the chances will slowly slip away.

For our parents, we must really appreciate them and cherish them. They're with us since we're born. They took care of us, feed us until we grow up,  support us to school and university. While we're spending money and enjoying life in university, little did we know that they're working hard to provide us the best they could give. But we always take them for granted and think that it's their responsibility to give us all these high-end lives and enjoyments. When they can't satisfy our needs, we get mad and grumble without considering their feelings.

So, call your parents once in a while, even a text means a lot to them. They wanna know how our lives are over here but they are afraid that they will annoy us. Some little things in our lives may seem like nothing and not worth mentioning to them but our parents can know our lives and understand us more through these 'little things' that we mention to them.

My parents seldom call me but we contact a lot via whatsapp. Recently I always share my lives with them by sending pics of my uni life like my friends, my meals, my outing etc and concern more about them.

Since Father's Day is coming, mom actually discussed with me about what to buy for dad and she sent me pics of the gift options then we choose together. Although we're in didferent states but we can still live life together by sharing small little things with each other.
