I know it took a long time for me to update the second day of my Penang trip haha. It's because I had some trouble connecting my external hard disk to my notebook so I can't transfer the photos. I was struggling whether to publish this post without the photos or to wait for few days until I can connect the hard disk. Then I think it's much better to attach some photos so the post will be more interesting haha. That's why this post is late.
This was the second day of our Penang Trip. We didn't plan where to eat for our breakfast so we just strolled around the streets and ate whenever we saw many people in the kopitiam or the stalls. We tried kueyteow soup at a kopitiam located at the shop lot just next to Hutton Lodge. Then we walked to Chulia Street to do some sight-seeing and hunt for food. We also tried wantan mee at a stall as well.
Actually we planned to watch movie with Xiang Ling in the afternoon so after having breakfast we went back to Hutton Lodge to get ready and headed to Gurney Paragon at around 10am ++ by rapid Penang. We arrived Gurney Paragon at around 11am. While waiting for Xiang Ling we did some shopping. I bought a pair of black pants from h&m.

After Xiang Ling came, we ate chilli panmee which was strongly recommended by Xiang Ling at the food court. I think it tasted quite nice. Then we watched Allegiant together. After the movie we went to Penang Hill, planning to have a cable car ride to see the sunset. However, when we got there I realized that I lost my purse, probably left it in the cinema. So we went back to Gurney Paragon to look for my purse. Fortunately the staff of the cinema kept it for me. I was so careless sigh I must learn to keep a good look at my belongings whenever I go on a trip. Because of this incident we didn't manage to view sunset in Penang Hill :( Instead, we went to a cafe in Gurney Paragon to spend time chit chatting. This was my first try on chocolate bomb. The chocolate was very rich and made a good combination with the fruits served together.

Afterwards, we went to the jetty area to eat fish noodles. It's recommended by one of our friend who has ever vacated here. We ordered a normal fish noodles and a tomyam fish noodles and shared among three of us. I like both of the broth because both of them tasted really fresh and didn't have the fishy taste. We actually spent quite some time waiting because there's a lot of customers there. I think we have waited for more than half an hour but it's totally worth the wait tho.
We were all satisfied with our dinner although we spent a long time waiting. Then we went to Chinahouse as recommended by Xiang Ling. I really like the atmosphere there. At first I thought it's a more Asian style cafe as the name indicated but actually it is not lol. The cafe is well decorated in an Euro style and a wide variety of cakes were served. We tried tiramisu cake and it tasted so good! I will try other cakes as well when I visit here again. Btw this cafe is kinda special because for every table, a blank paper is used as table clothes and we can actually use the crayon prepared to doodle or draw on the paper.

For today, we tried many good food which made me so satisfied *thumbs up* Will update day 3 soon :)
